BIOGRAPHY – RANI MUKHERJEE
Rani Mukherjee was born on 21st March 1978 in Bengal (India). She represents Aries as her Zodiac Sign. She belongs to film- chain family background with virtual Ascence of Bengal. Her father Mr. Ram Mukherjee was a director and her mother Mrs. Krishna Mukherjee was a playback singer, while Raja Mukherjee (Rani’s brother) joined his father as a assistant director and is now working on his first directorial project. Raja and Joyti are the parents of a baby girl named Mishti. Rani started her film career as acting, in her first bengali film Biyer Phool. Though her first Hindi film was Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (’96) which did not gave her valid performance on box- office. But her next two films, which were the India’s wide-hits are Ghulam & Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (’98). For which she gained the Filmfare Award in Best Supporting Actress category. After these success Rani signed for great many movies, but as per luck they gave their average performance on the box- office. She too, had a widely believe to revive her career according to the success of Saathiya (’02).
Rani also received many awards for giving her own best performance from Filmfare as Best Supporting Actress in Yuva and Hum Tum in (’04). Being an activist lawyer in Veer-Zara (’05), the year’s biggest hit, forced her to win another Filmfare Award. During the journey till 2005, she stated herself on the four high profiles movies such as, a dashing a performance in Bunty Aur Babli, well up to mark and appreciated work in Black and many others. She has also been a quick and clever stage performer and even took part in several international tours. She also gave her good efforts, as performing with Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal and with Priyanka Chopra in 2004 Temptation concert. Giving her appearance at Closing Ceremony of the 2006 Common - wealth Games in Melbourne, she performed a part of showcasing the Indian culture on behalf of 2010 Commonwealth Games, which was to be located in Delhi.
Rani Mukherjee was linked romantically with actors like, Govinda, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and with many mores. A British newspaper, Desi Xpress in 2005, also interviewed her. According to Ms. Mukherjee 2006 has been her the luckiest year till yet because, her latest release finished with the top most rating, which was the gross of any Bollywood movie upto date.

She was welcomed with overflowing numerous international audience may be about 50,000 in the Film Festival of Casablanca in (’05) which was held in Morocco for her four films that were represented. She was also accordingly given some amount of rupees about 1.5 core, to just perform with the co-star Saif Ali Khan for one-and-a-half-minute at the Closing Ceremony of the 2006 Commonwealth Games. She gave the translation of her surname due to numerological problem as she said it many years ago but, latestly she mentioned that, it doesn’t concerned to any problem like that as her surname was spell out mistakenly on her passport and she wanted to consist that. She too, was invited to promote her recent film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna in Toronto International film Festival. In 2006, in Juhu, she bought a new house for herself which was interloped by Twinkle Khanna. It was also rumored that, in India she is one the highest paying actress.
