Saif Ali Khan born on 16th August 1970 in New Delhi.
Saif Ali Khan was born
into the family of the Nawab of Pataudi. His father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi,
was the Nawab of Pataudi and was a successful Cricketer played for Indian
Team and a former Captain of the Indian Cricket Team.

His Grandfather Iftikaar Ali Khan Pataudi was the Nawab Of Pataudi as well
as an Accomplished Cricketer who first played for the England Team and then
for the Indian Team as the Captain.
Saif ad completed his
studies from Winchester College at England.
He was married to Indian
Actress Amrita Singh in October 1991 but got separated in 2004. Saif has two
children's, one daughter named Sara Khan and one son named as Ibrahim Khan.
Saif Ali Khan's debut
film was Parampara then came Aashiq Awara in 1993 but his Acting talent was
realized in the film Yeh Dillagi with Akshay
Kumar and Kajol in 1994. This film was Saif Ali
Khan's first hit film. He also had Innumerable Moderate hits film such as
Main Khiladi Tu Anari in 1994, Surakshaa in 1995, Ek Tha Raja in 1996,
Hameshaa in 1997, Keemat in 1998, ‘Kachche Dhaage in 1999 and Hum Saath
Saath Hain in 1999, Kya Kehna in 2000 and Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega in
2001. His Acting career had gone through many ups and downs until he was
casted in Farhaan Akhtar’s Dil Chahta Hai Movie was a hit in 2001.
These film made Saif Ali Khan as One of the Most Bankable Star in the
Industry. He Kept his hardwork and performance with a Comic Eligible
Bachelor in the Yash Raj Memorable films Kal Ho Na Ho in 2003, a Gangster in
Ek Hasina Thi in 2004 and a light hearted cartoonist in Kunal Kohli’s Hum
Tum in 2004, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Parineeta in 2005 and once again Yash Raj
Production film Salaam Namaste in 2005. These film resulted success in both,
commercially as well as personally in Saif Ali Khan life. He got critically
acclaims for his performance in Hum Tum and received the National Film Award
for Best Actor for Hum Tum.
Parineeta and Salaam Namaste both these films were also great hits in India
as well as Overseas. In 2006 Saif Ali Khan acted in the offbeat English film
Being Cyrus and performed in villainous role in his latest movie released
Omkara which is an adaption of Shakespeare's play Othello.
Saif joined Bollywood
Stars on a world tour performing in Temptations 2004 and was accompanied by
Stars like Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal,
Preeti Zinta, Rani Mukherjee and
Priyanka Chopra.
In 2007 Saif Ali Khan
appeared in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film Eklavya: The Royal Guard. with Amitabh
Bachchan. and Rani Mukherjee in Tara Rum Pam.
In 2008, Saif Ali Khan
starred in the Abbas Mustan thriller Race, This was followed by two Films
produced by Yash Raj Films, Tashan and Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, both of
which were not so successful.
In 2009, Khan produced
and starred in Love Aaj Kal. The film, directed by Imtiaz Ali, was a
critical and commercial success. He then starred in the thriller Kurbaan
along with Kareena Kapoor in which he played a terrorist. The following
year, Khan was awarded the Padma Shri, which is the fourth highest civilian
award given by the Government of India
Saif Ali Khan was honored his first Award at Filmfare Best Debut award for
his debut film ‘Aashiq Awara’ in 1993. In 2001 where he received four
different Awards in all Award Functions like at Filmfare Awards for Best
Comedian Award for the film ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, at Zee Cine Awards For Best
Actor in a Supporting Role for ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, at Sansui Awards For Best
Actor in a Comic Role for ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ and at last at IIFA Awards for
Best Supporting Actor Award for ‘Dil Chahta Hai’.
Then in 2003 he was awarded for ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ at Filmfare Award for Best
Actor in a Supporting Role, IIFA Awards for Best Supporting Role – Male
Award, Sansui Award for Best Supporting Actor, Star Screen Award for Best
Supporting Actor and Finally at Zee Cine Awards for Best Actor in a
Supporting Role. In 2004 he had was Awarded for his next Blockbuster film
‘Hum Tum’ at Filmfare Awards for Best Comedian Award. He received National
Film Award for Best Actor for the film ‘Hum Tum’ in 2005.
